Recording a meeting comes with duties. VideoSuite covers the technical side: each guest sees the recording notice before entering, the host can choose to record audio only or not to record, and any authorised participant can pause; while paused nothing is captured. No bot: the room itself records, not an assistant that shows up in the participant list.
Who it is for
For professionals with duties of secrecy and data protection (lawyers, advisers, health professionals) and for any company that wants no surprises around consent.
What it does, step by step
- A recording notice per participant on the entry screen, with an audio-only variant.
- A real pause, with a per-organisation policy: in the "mutual" mode, resuming requires everyone to accept.
- Recording mode chosen by the host: full, audio only or not recorded.
- Storage in the European Union and signed, short-lived access links.
- The policy is that recordings do not expire: they are kept as long as the organisation needs them and deleted on express request. After optimising a file (re-encoding to take less space), it is verified before the original is touched.
- Credentials spoken aloud are hidden before being stored and before being sent to the model.
Honest limits
- This is not legal advice: consent, legal basis and retention periods are your obligations, and you should reflect them in your privacy policy.
- There is no automatic deletion mechanism by agreement of both parties: deletion is requested expressly.
Which plans include it
What each plan includes, with prices and the own-brand extra, is in the plans section of the site: VideoSuite's features are described here as they work today in production, and some (such as own brand or own domain) depend on the plan.
