VideoSuite

VideoSuite vs Granola: an honest 2026 comparison

Granola takes notes without a bot from your device. VideoSuite records from its own room. Two ways to avoid the bot, with pros and cons of each and dated prices.

Granola is one of the few note assistants that does not put a bot in the call: it captures audio from your device and combines it with your own notes. VideoSuite also avoids the bot, but another way: the room does the recording. The difference is whose place the meeting happens in.

What Granola does well

  • No bot: nobody sees an assistant in the call.
  • Notes written on top of your own jottings, which is comfortable for personal use.
  • API (from Business), MCP, Zapier and SOC 2 Type II, according to its page.
  • You can turn off training per user, and for the whole workspace on Enterprise.

What to know about Granola

  • Oriented to one person: it is not a company room with its own brand.
  • It captures from the device of whoever uses it: the other participants have nothing to do with the tool.

Published prices

  • Basic: 0 (30 days of history). Business: 14 USD per user a month. Enterprise: 35 USD per user a month. Prices published by Granola and read on 19 October 2026.

What changes with VideoSuite

  • The room belongs to the company: a recording notice for every guest before entering, and a real pause.
  • Every participant has their own audio track, not only the person using the tool.
  • Summary, tasks, commitments and infographic, and a personal link for each guest.
  • Own brand and domain, and delivery of reports to your company's memory.

What VideoSuite does not do or is not

  • It is a new product: a few weeks of real use, not years like most of the rivals.
  • To get the benefit you meet in its room, or import the recording afterwards; it does not sit on top of Zoom, Meet or Teams.
  • Each room admits at most 16 people: it is not a webinar product.
  • The connected calendar is Google Calendar only, and charging for sessions through Stripe Connect works today in test mode only: it does not move real money yet.
  • Your own brand and domain are set up with our help: today there is no self-service panel.

Choose VideoSuite if the goal is for the meeting, with its consent, brand and report, to belong to your company and not to one person.
