VideoSuite

VideoSuite vs Fireflies.ai: an honest 2026 comparison

Fireflies summarises your meetings with AI on top of the tool you already use. VideoSuite puts the room, the brand and the report in your own house. Pros and cons of both, with sources.

Fireflies.ai is an AI note-taking assistant: it connects to your Zoom, Meet or Teams meetings, transcribes them and summarises them. VideoSuite solves something else: it is the meeting room itself, with your brand and your domain, and the report comes out of it. If you already live in Zoom or Meet and only want notes, Fireflies may be all you need.

What Fireflies.ai does well

  • It works on top of the tool you already use: no need to change room or habits.
  • According to its page, summaries, questions to the meeting (AskFred), task detection, topics and sentiment.
  • It has an API and integrations with other tools, and has been on the market for years.

What to know about Fireflies.ai

  • A bot joins your calls (there is also an extension): that is how it works, and some external guests find it odd.
  • It charges per seat, and the results live in its cloud, not in a space with your brand.
  • Its security FAQ says data is stored in the EU and processed in the US; if where it is processed matters to you, ask them.
  • User reviews mention speaker attribution sometimes goes wrong in meetings with several people; we could not open the full reviews, so this is a hint, not a measurement.

Published prices

  • Its official site lists Free, Pro, Business and Enterprise with no figures on the page we read on 19 October 2026, so we give no prices: check their site.

What changes with VideoSuite

  • No bot: the room itself records, and every guest sees the notice before entering.
  • The speaker name is the person who joined: each microphone is recorded on its own track, nothing is guessed.
  • Tasks with owner and date, commitments, and an infographic where every item links to its minute.
  • The room, the emails and the summary carry your brand and your domain.
  • API and MCP (from the Professional plan) and delivery to MemoryFirst so your own AI can query the meetings.

What VideoSuite does not do or is not

  • It is a new product: a few weeks of real use, not years like most of the rivals.
  • To get the benefit you meet in its room, or import the recording afterwards; it does not sit on top of Zoom, Meet or Teams.
  • Each room admits at most 16 people: it is not a webinar product.
  • The connected calendar is Google Calendar only, and charging for sessions through Stripe Connect works today in test mode only: it does not move real money yet.
  • Your own brand and domain are set up with our help: today there is no self-service panel.

When to choose each one

Choose Fireflies if your team already works in Zoom, Meet or Teams, you do not want to change room and you want notes with many integrations.

Choose VideoSuite if you want the meeting to happen in a place of your own, without a bot, under your brand, with the report and the memory staying in your company.
