VideoSuite

VideoSuite vs Read.ai: an honest 2026 comparison

Read.ai offers live notes, MCP and many integrations on top of Zoom, Meet and Teams. What it does well, what it costs per user and what changes with VideoSuite. With sources.

Read.ai is a meeting assistant that joins Zoom, Teams and Meet and also offers an app and an extension. It has live notes, access to language models and MCP. VideoSuite does not join any meeting: it is the room.

What Read.ai does well

  • It covers Zoom, Teams and Meet, and also offers an app and an extension.
  • Live notes, access to Claude, ChatGPT and MCP; API and webhooks on premium plans.
  • A free plan to try it and a low-priced Pro plan.

What to know about Read.ai

  • It works with a bot in meetings, besides the app and the extension.
  • It is paid per user, and according to its page all seats in the workspace are on the same plan.
  • It offers an assistant brand on Pro, but not a room on your own domain.

Published prices

  • Free: 0 (5 transcripts a month and 1 hour). Pro: 15 USD per user a month billed annually (19.75 monthly). Enterprise: 22.50 USD (29.75 monthly, minimum 5). Enterprise+: 29.75 USD (39.75 monthly). Prices published by Read.ai and read on 19 October 2026.

What changes with VideoSuite

  • No bot: the room records, with a notice and a pause.
  • Room, emails and summary under your brand and domain.
  • Speaker by microphone track.
  • A report with tasks, commitments and an infographic with every item linked to its minute.

What VideoSuite does not do or is not

  • It is a new product: a few weeks of real use, not years like most of the rivals.
  • To get the benefit you meet in its room, or import the recording afterwards; it does not sit on top of Zoom, Meet or Teams.
  • Each room admits at most 16 people: it is not a webinar product.
  • The connected calendar is Google Calendar only, and charging for sessions through Stripe Connect works today in test mode only: it does not move real money yet.
  • Your own brand and domain are set up with our help: today there is no self-service panel.
